I moved to this state and started working as a teacher last year.  Originally, I taught at an inner city school where we didn’t have much of anything to work with, whether it was books, furniture, or basic school supplies.  To save money, the administration made online purchases from a discount school supply. We didn’t get new things very often, so we were all very happy when we did.  Otherwise, we just made do with old stuff, and sometimes that got really discouraging.

The school I now teach at is in a much more prosperous area.  It’s a bigger school, but the class sizes are smaller, which is more desirable and quite a relief for me.  Of course, the school budget is much bigger too, which means we don’t hurt for new classroom supplies.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my new school also used the same online supplier as my old school.  The principal is someone who controls the budget carefully, something he takes a lot of pride in.  He never takes money for granted.  He insists on the best service for the best prices, so if he likes the same supplier, they must do a pretty good job!
