Like so many folks now days, I have a few tattoos. Okay, perhaps more than a few tatoos. Well, the term “few” is so subjective. What does “few” mean anyway? Do 5 tattoos qualify as a few? Or how about 7? Okay, so I currently have 9, but that’s still a few, right? Relative to like 42, I’d say that 9 were a few!

Anyway, always on the lookout for new and interesting tattoo flash, I recently came across some lighter, softer images that really touched me. You see, being a woman means I have the luxury of having beautiful things tattooed to my body without having to explain myself.

Over my left shoulder I currently have a lovely bunch of flower tattoos, and a decent amount of space between them and the shoulder blade. My thoughts had been on what I might insert into that space when I came across flash that really caught my eye.

Butterfly tattoos, in the right size proportionate to the flowers just jumped off the page telling me they had to become a part of the artwork I was having created on my body. With the right color choices, I am sure I’ll be very happy with this new discovery of creative tattoos.
