My past relationship disasters have been well documented. You all know that things with girls and me just find a way of not working out. It’s something I’ve come to accept. But I think tonight might be the start of something new.

I finally met a girl with whom I feel truly connected. Let me start at the beginning. I was at the local bookstore, just hanging out reading a few books and magazines. All of a sudden this girl sat in the chair next to me. She had some wicked rose tattoos, scorpion tattoos, and I think I saw praying hands tattoos.

Then, I noticed we were reading the exact same book. It’s crazy. I thought no one else had ever heard of this obscure author. So, obviously I had to say something. I nervously struck up a conversation with the girl, expecting to be shot down immediately.

To my surprise, she was actually very kind to me, and we had an amazing conversation. I decided to push my luck by asking her out to dinner tomorrow night, and she said yes!  Now, I know what you’re thinking-I just met the girl, how do I know she’s going to be different. I just do. It almost seemed like fate!
