Professor Dean was my college professor in Ecology, a minor subject in my IT degree that I took in college.

I guess I can say that I was one of his favorite students because I always showed interest in his lectures.

One time, I volunteered to do a layout of his instructional materials using Adobe Photoshop.  I carefully labeled the CD digital copy using my dvd labeler.

Last week, Professor Dean called me if I could make a digital compilation of his list of flora and fauna species from his research in Indonesia.  And of course, I was glad to do it for my dear mentor.

Unfortunately, at that time, my disc printer broke.  I didn’t want Professor Dean to know because I was afraid I could sound hinting that he buys one for me.

And then by some strange event, Professor Dean sent me two disc printers via courier service!

He later told me that he would need hundreds of copies of the research and that he has enough private funding for the production of the CDs.  I was grateful because not only did I earn extra cash but I also learned a lot about flora and fauna.  I got so carried away that it got me thinking about switching to being a biodiversity researcher.
