There are so many new technologies that are discovered every day and they are sometimes very amazing things. One of the newest technologies in flow meters is just as amazing. The mass air flow sensor and oil flow monitor are already pretty amazing types of technology. Now, however, there is a flow monitor that has a capability to not only gauge water flow measurement, but to actually monitor the temperature, as well.

These stainless steel flow meters are the vortex shredding type and are made for water or coolant flow. The temperature transmitters are optional for pipes up to 4 inch sizes. They are proper flow meters for corrosive fluids with low viscosity.

The instruments for measuring temperatures and flow are electronic and can measure water, coolant and glycol and water combinations in industrial processing. The temperature is read by the monitor of the meter and then sent to the process controller. Clean or dirty liquids can be monitored for flow and temperature. This flow meter has no moving parts on the device so that means no chances of parts getting stuck or jammed. An optional selection is the addition of a scaled pulse output that will increase the ability of the flow meter to control the amount of liquids that are used in specific processes, as well as to monitor and measure effectively.
